San Francisco (Calif.) police dispatcher Toni Dukes spends her on-duty time taking phone calls, dispatching patrol units and helping people along the way. But she will be honored by the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation for her work off-duty helping the homeless. Dukes makes up packets that contain a hat, gloves and Kleenex, and then strolls the city’s districts to find those who live on the streets and hand out the packets. Read more about Dukes and her extraordinary work here.
