Wired, Cellular Census Data Released

The FCC has released major reports on the status of wired and cellular communications in the country, showing that 99.8% of the population has one or more cellular operators available, and that 95% of households have a wired or wireless phone. Over one-half the population has five or more cellular carriers available, the FCC survey found, and the lowest telephone availability is in Mississippi at 89.8%.
