San Francisco police released almost 47 minutes of logging tapes that were recorded last Christmas day when a tiger escaped from an enclosure, mauled one man to death and injured two others. The tapes include the initial 911 call from a zoo employee who was in radio contact with another employee who was approached by one of the injured men, and includes zoo radio transmissions in the background that expressed skepticsm that an animal was loose. Tapes of police radio transmissions include units trying to evacuate the zoo after sunset, and trying to find the victims. Listen to the tapes here.
