The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has issued an ultimatum to a Puerto Rico resident who operates an 800 MHz radio system–re-tune your system in compliance with the Commission’s plan or surrender your license for the system. In fact, the FCC earlier ruled that Kang Lee had failed to act in good faith with Sprint by withholding information about his system so the company could determine the costs for re-tuning his system. As a result, the FCC ruled Kang had to pay for the re-tuning himself. The FCC gave Kang another 30 days to comply. Download (pdf) the entire Order here.
