A dispatcher for the Los Angeles General Services Police Department was fatally stabbed by her boyfriend of 6 years on Thursday, and the woman’s mother was also killed in the attack. Damaris Quiles, 35, and her 73 year-old mother were killed at their home in suburban Tujunga. Afterwards, Walter Garcia drove to Pasadena and jumped to his death from a 150-foot bridge. The couple had been experiencing problems lately, police said, and Quiles had obtained a restraining order against Garcia. Quiles had just returned from dropping her 6 year-old daughter off at school at 8:45 a.m.. Garcia had broken into the home while she was gone, and attack the women when Quiles returned.
