Former Albany (NY) TV anchor Ed Dague has pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment of a Saratoga County dispatcher last October. Dague’s attorney–his son–appeared after court officials told reporters the day’s session had been adjourned, apparently to avoid publicity. Dague dialed 911 to complain while his wife was being cited by an officer for using her cellular phone while driving. During the call he threatened to bring a firearm to the car stop. “Well, I’m going to have to get a gun and go over there then,” he said on the phone. Dague faced up to $1,000 in fines and a year in jail, but the judge fined him $250.
