A story in the Jackson Citizen Patriot (Mich.) newspaper profiled Jackson County 911 dispatcher Cheryl Smth, who just retired after 29 years of service. Typically, her next-to-last day included 73 vehicle accidents within a 3-hour period caused by the snowy weather. “This job is not cut out for everybody.
