Dispatcher Loses Home in Fire

The 911 CARES program has learned that Obion County (Tenn.) 911 assistant director Lori Cox lost her home to a fire last Friday. Three inches of rain added to the damage, which was pretty much total. Fortunately Lori, her mother, 5 year-old son Jackson and pet dog were able to escape the flames. The family was able to salvage some possessions, but has had to move to her husband’s parent’s house. Check the 911 CARES Web site for information on how to donate, and updates on the situation.
