The Edmond (Okla.) police and fire departments are the latest agencies to join a $34 million state-wide radio network intended to improve interoperability. The city will use $2.5 million to buy radios and equipment to access the state’s 800 MHz trunked radio system, which has 32 towers and 20,000 users. Read more about the upgrade here.
