State’s E911 Coverage ‘Embarrassing’

An article in the Kansas City Star newspaper says that Missouri lags in E911 coverage, calling it “embarrassing.” Officials admit it’s the only state in the nation without a dedicated source of 911 funding, leading to just 21 of the state’s 114 counties having E911.
