An 8 year-old boy dialed 911 as his mother drove him along a Clark County (Wash.) road, telling a dispatcher, “Mom’s not acting normal.” The mother grabbed the cellular phone and told the dispatcher everything was okay, but he boy managed to call back. At one point police say the mother bit the boy’s hand to loosen his grip on the phone. Dispatchers managed to locate the moving car through the E911 system and the boy’s report of landmarks, and arrested her on DUI charges. Read more and listen to the three 911 calls here.
