Oregon Radio Project Became ‘Fiasco’

A long story in the News-Register (McMinnville, Ore.) outlined how a $1.4 million upgrade to the Yamhill County public safety radio system, “spiraled into a fiasco of mind-boggling complexity.” It recounts the work of consultant Art Walker, whose bill eventually rose from $125,000 to $190,000, which the county has disputed.
