Dispatcher Radios Final Call for Firefighter

Sadly, Sedgwick County (Kan.) Fire Department Lt. Byron Johnson died while fighting a grass fire, when he stepped on a live power line that had been knocked down during the initial vehicle accident. He received a full-honors funeral that included a final call on the radio, made by dispatcher Stephanie Ricker of Sedgwick County Emergency Communications.
