The need of interoperability is pretty obvious for America’s largest cities, which have several agencies and jurisdictions, the frequent need to inter-communicate, and the money to fund multi-million dollar radio networks. But there are lots of smaller jurisdictions who would be just as well-served with a decent and modern radio system. Nevertheless, interoperability is the marketing buzzword of the 21st century, as demonstrated by an 11-minute video on the subject posted on the PodTech Web site, featuring analysts from the market research firm INPUT.
