National Preparedness Guidelines Posted

The Department of Homeland Security has posted a 51-page “National Preparedness Guidelines” intended to standardize the planning and funding process for state and local governments. The document includes chapters on preparing for specific types of risks, and sets out priorities: collaboration, NIMS, information sharing, interoperable communications, medical response and community preparedness.
