State Finds Comm Problems

A Maryland state report on a May fatal bridge accident concluded that state agencies had to relay information through dispatchers, since state and local agencies had no way to radio each other directly. Three persons died in the 7-vehicle accident on the bridge, where Anne Arundel and Queen Anne’s County agencies responded. Local agencies dispute the state report’s conclusions, saying that any communications problems were minor. Read more about the radio communications here.
