Boston (Mass.) Mayor Thomas Memino joined police superintendent Dan Linskey at to push the button on the first of many emergency phone kiosks in city parks, intended to improve emergency communications in the parks. The kiosks are bright blue, 9-feet tall, and connect directly to a dispatcher with the press of a red button. Read what happened when the mayor pushed the button for the first time here.
