Livingston County (NY) dispatcher Andrew Eve, 33, has died after a long battle with cystic fibrosis. Eve was a 10-year veteran of the sheriff’s department, and was also a member of the Livonia Fire Department. Sheriff John York said Eve never let his disease affect his work. He said the department was devastated by the loss. Watch a report that WHEC-TV aired just two months ago about Eve and his perseverance.
