AT&T Supports 700 MHz Plan

Cellular carrier AT&T says that FCC chain Kevin Martin’s proposal for the upcoming 700 MHz band auction is a “creative compromise” that properly balances all the interests. Up to now, cellular carriers have raised every possible objection against plans that would reserve some spectrum for a nationwide public safety radio network, as well as create an “open access” rule for some frequencies.
