Saanich (BC) police officers say the CREST radio system has had problems ever since it was first constructed four years ago, but that there are getting “bonked” more than ever now, and transmissions are frequently garbled. Police association president Steve Irwin told a newspaper that his group has been silent about the problems for too long, and now want something done to fix the problems. “The radios are terrible.
