Aurora (Colo.) Public Safety Communications Department dispatcher Diva Miranda helped two neighbors rescue a child found floating in a swimming pool. The 12 year-old got into trouble in the deep end of the pool, and a child ran to the neighbor’s apartment. The couple dialed 911 and ran to the pool to pull the youngster from the water. With Miranda’s help they established an airway and paramedics arrived quickly to treat the child, who recovered at a hospital. Read more and listen to the 911 call here.
