Franconia (NH) police Cpl. Bruce McKay was shot and killed in May by the driver of a car he pulled over for expired registration. A passerby picked up Mckay’s handgun and shot the suspect to death as the passerby’s son called for help on the police radio. Now the police department has released the logging tapes of the radio broadcasts, painting a chilling image of the incident.
