There are few details about a CAD crash at the Philadelphia Police Department early Saturday morning during a software upgrade. Officials only said that calltakers and radio dispatchers had to use pen-and-paper to take incident information, track officers and send incident information to patrol units. The CAD system was restored Saturday afternoon after the system was successfully upgraded.
