VoIP 911 Mis-Route Help

E911 database company HBF/911 Services and the private emergency response center provider Northern911 have partnered to provide a no-fee service to handle mis-routed VoIP 911 calls. Under the program dubbed “PSAP Safety Net,” the companies will provide a toll-free number that PSAPs can use to transfer mis-routed 911 calls made from a VoIP telephone account. The Northern911 Emergency Response Center will then take the call and transfer it to the proper PSAP. The companies are conducting a two-month trial of the service and will then go national.
