A dashboard video camera was rolling when an unnamed Kansas City (Mo.) officer pulled over a car, and the driver exited firing a MAC-10 9mm semi-auto at the officer. The police department has released the video, along with the radio logging tape to demonstrate the dangers of police work. On the tape, the suspect fires continually at the officer while running towards the patrol car. The officer excitedly, but clearly, tells the dispatcher that he’s been hit.
