When Brandon Elliott, 12, heard continued knocking at his front door in White Settlement (Tex.), and then the door bell, he felt something was about to happen. He grabbed a cordless phone and hid in a closet, and then heard glass breaking as a burglar broke in. He dialed 911 and reached dispatcher Kirsty Martin, who obtained information from him and dispatched officers.
