A Charlottesville (Virg.) dispatcher has been arrested by police for possession of drugs while on-duty. Jeanine Miller, 44, was on the job just five weeks and was still in training, according to comm center manager Tom Hansen. He said the center does require a new employee drug test, but didn’t say if the test had yet been performed on Miller. She was immediately fired, and police say she was charged with felony possession of cocaine and marijuana. She was released on bond after a court hearing. Hansen did not elaborate on how her drug possession was detected or the circumstances of her arrest.
