Accident Takes Dispatcher’s Life

A tragic auto accident has claimed the life of Oak Ridge (Tenn.) police dispatcher Angela Aslinger. Police said she was driving her 1997 Buick in the town of Claxton at about 11:45 p.m., when the car left the roadway, flipped over and struck a pole. Aslinger, 42, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. Police chief David Beams said Aslinger was a 10-year veteran of the agency, and previously worked as a Roane County dispatcher. He praised her and said, “Her death is a real loss to the public safety community that
serves Oak Ridge.” Read more here.
