Tapes Released of Gov.’s Crash

New Jersey state officials have released logging tapes of radio transmissions and 911 calls made after Gov. Jon Corzine’s SUV crashed on the Garden State Parkway April 12th. The SUV was being driven with emergency lights at 91 mph in a 65 mph zone enroute to a meeting, and was struck by another vehicle which, in turn, had been struck by a vehicle trying to get out of the way of the governor’s convoy.
