A Lane County (Ore.) dispatcher who answered a man’s 911 call was given a geography lesson by the caller, after the dispatcher failed to know there was a Washington County within the state. The man dialed 911 when he suffered an allergic reaction, reached the Lane County comm center, and asked to be transferred to Washington County’s center.
