Walker County (Geo.) sheriff Steve Wilson aannounced a tip line to field information about dispatcher Theresa Parker, missing since March 23rd. A vigil was held last week to help publicize the disappearance of Parker, whose friends are also soliciting donations to help match a $1,000 reward offered by Gov. Sonny Perdue. Earlier, police drained a local pond searching for any clues, and 200 volunteers searched an area around a cellular tower where Parker’s last phone calls were made. Parker, 41, lived alone, and had been on days-off while moving out of the house she shared with her husband Sam, who was fired after explosives were found in his locker during a search by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in connection with his wife’s disappearance.
