Sprint Nextel has proposed some changes to the FCC’s 800 MHz rebanding rules that it says would “improve, simplify and facilitate” the process. Their recommendations include changing from 180 days of negotiation to 90 days, start wide-area planning, and modifying the FCC’s “minimum cost” standard.
