It was Lapeer County (Mich.) dispatcher Candy Allen’s first baby. Well, the first one that she has delivered over the phone to a nervous mother and father-to-be. “I was really nervous and wanted everything to go right for them,” said Allen. “When it was over, I was almost crying.” The St. Patrick’s Day event was about 3 weeks early for the couple.
