A Springfield (Mo.) resident spotted his own stolen vehicle and gave chase in a pick-up truck while talking to a dispatcher. The chase reached 80 mph at some points, and the man finally was able to pin the motorcycle and driver to a thorn bush and recover his bike. Comm center training supervisor Rick Richards was asked about the call by a reporter. “He was advised by us not to do that.
