Cellular provider AT&T now offers a GPS-based locating service for businesses, based on the electronics installed in wireless handsets for 911 calls. The service offers improved “dispatching” for the service and delivery business markets. The TeleNav Track service uses either a standard handset or a Blackberry device to offer location services, push-to-talk communications and regular cellular service for field personnel, and location services back at the main office using a Web-based interface.
