The New York State Commission of Investigation looked into complaints by residents of Lloyd Harbor that the police department improperly solicited donations and several times failed to properly respond to incidents. The commission’s report includes a bizarre list of incidents where Suffolk County dispatchers tried to radio LHPD officers about incident without success and other communications troubles.
