Donation for 911 System

If 911 were always this easy to implement and fund: The United States Agency for International Development has donated US$600,000 to the Dominican Republic Interior and Police Ministry to develop a 911 system. The U.S. ambassador and and the Dominican interior and police minister will meet to sign and finalize the agreement. You may know the Caribbean island country is sometimes known as Hispaniola, with a population of about 600,000 and reportedly has one of the best telephone and cellular networks among Caribbean islands.
