PlantCML Buys TCI

PlantCML has announced that it has purchased Tel Control, Inc., funded by San Francisco-based private equity firm Golden Gate Capital, which also includes PlantCML in its portfolio. PlantCML markets computer telephony integrated (CTI) workstations, along with CAD, records management and mobile data software, digital logging, VoIP and NG911 solutions. TCI provides 911 solutions. In a press release announcing the purchase, PlantCML said the move would combine, “PlantCML’s strengths in on-premise 911 solutions with TCI’s strengths in hosted 911 solutions.” PlantCML president Timothy Fuller said, “Existing agreements between each company, its customers, partners and service providers will be honored.”
