NPSTC Exec Testifies to Congress

The executive director of the National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC), Marily Ward, testified before a Senate subcommittee on Thursday, explaining the communications needs of first resonders. She noted the budget constraints that most public safety agencies are facing, and that the federal office of Emergency Communications has been left unfunded.
