Dispatcher’s House Burns

The 911 Cares program has been notified of a dispatcher’s personal tragedy: Limestone County (Tex.) sheriff’s dispatcher Wayna Ward’s home burned to the ground Thursday evening. Ward is a single mother of two children, and they all lost everything they own. He co-workers are helping as best they can, but ask for any assistance that other dispatchers can provide. Money donations can be made out to Wayna Ward Relief Fund, Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, 1221 E. Yeagua St., Groesbeck, TX 76642-2008. Check the 911 Cares Web site for future updates.
