The transcript of a 911 call released by Eugene (Ore.) police details events that led from the call to the death of a man by police bullets last November. Ryan Salisbury was acting violently at home, and police say he refused to put down a knife when confronted by officers. After firing bean bag rounds at him, an officer fired five times from his handgn, killing Salisbury. During the 911 call Salisbury’s mother said that officers might actually “make things worse.” Even so, she said, “You need to come, please.” Read more about the 911 call here.
