VoIP provider Vonage Inc. announced that 94% of its VoIP subscribers now have direct E911 service to the appropriate PSAP. The company said they now have 2 million lines connected to E911. Since Dec. 15, 2006 Vonage has turned on E911 service to an additional 50 PSAPS, bringing the total to 6,600. Vonage operates a call center to field 911 calls from customers who don’t have the service.E-mail this story
