Lebanon County (Penn.) commissioners have learned that it will take $700,000 to improve their M/A-COMM radio system so that it provides full signal coverage throughout the county. The system was purchased in 2003 for $10.4 million, but has never provided full voice coverage over eight towers. The county has been successfully using the radio system for paging, but only after initial problems of missed incidents. Read more about the system here.
