Survey on 911 Service

An annual survey on 911 service by the Courier News in suburban Chicago (Ill.) found that about 12% of 911 callers had difficulty getting through to the PSAP over the past 12 months. Among cellular callers, one caller in 25 reported never being connected after dialing 911. The newspaper had recommendations for 911 callers, including knowing your location, being concise and, “Keep calm. Keep calling.” Read the story here.
