Stand-Off 911 Transcripts

The Blue Earth County (Minn.) Sheriff’s Department released transcripts of 911 calls made before and during a 7-hour stand-off with a man who shot and injured two deputies when they stormed his house. The transcripts show that the suspect himself may have dialed 911 and talked to a dispatcher, who apparently didn’t realize it was the suspect, and just told him, “Just stay in your house. If we need to contact you, we’ll come over there.” Police would not comment on the transcript, but you can read a news account here.
