What’s The Problem?

Hopefully someone at WANE-TV knows more than what they posted on-line about the Dekalb County (Ind.) 911 system. According to the system, it’s “inefficient” and, “different agencies use different radio frequencies, and most are not compatible.” Strangely, “This means that if you call 911, several other calls will also have to be made before you get help.” It’s not clear if they’re talking the 911 phone system, the radio system…or something else. An upgrade to something would cost $9.5 million, the story says.
