John Ristau owes his life to a Phase II system when he was pinned beneath his car on a rural road outside Bozeman (Mont.). Ristau’s truck blew a tire, and while trying to put on the spare he noticed an oil leak. He slid under the car, and the jack gave way, pinning him to the pavement. He was able to make two short connections when he dialed 911, and fire/EMS units located him right where his GPS handset had indicated. Read more here.
