The “Times of London” newspaper is reporting that wireless carrier O2 is considering a sale of the Airwave national police radio network that handles 150,000 users at 200 agencies. The system went live in March 2005, and was built under a $5.6 billion government contract. Company officials declined to comment to the newspaper.
