911 Survey Results

“Consumer Reports” magazine has published its survey results on 911 service nationwide, and found that one in 25 wireless 911 calls wasn’t completed, or about 4 million calls a year. The survey found that of those dialing 911 in the past year, 59% said they had used a cellular phone to make that call. The survey also found that Phase II is not complete, although three-quarters of the population has Phase II coverage. Read a summary of their findings here.
