The Georgia chapter of NENA has named the Fayette County’s 911 Communications Center has been named the 911 Center of the Year. Center director Cheryl Rogers said, “I can’t say enough about the folks here. I am very proud of them.” She said the center’s training program has been improved, reducing turnover. The training includes several surrounding counties, which helps improve inter-agency operations and standardize procedures.
